Questions & Answers

What inspired you to become a nurse practitioner?

As an adolescent, I spent summers sitting with my great grandmother, who suffered from dementia. I learned to assist her home health aide with her activities of daily living. The joy and love I experienced when caring for her carried on in my career and fueled my desire to be a caregiver.

What is your philosophy on patient care?

Prevention! Patient education is key to healthcare encounters. I believe when clients are informed, they can have improved health outcomes.

What brought you to St. Hope?

Community healthcare should be accessible, affordable, and indiscriminate. St. Hope Healthcare is a place that treats clients of various demographics in the community, offering comprehensive treatment options.
