Glory Abraham is a Family Nurse Practitioner for more than three years in primary care and urgent care. With clinical experience as a nurse practitioner in pediatric, adult, and geriatric care, she had a great opportunity to care for patients in all stages of life. She graduated from the University of Texas Medical Branch in 2017 with a Master’s degree in Nursing in Family Nurse Practitioner Program.


She has almost 11 years of nursing experience in different specialties. Her experiences as a bedside nurse have shaped her practice to work well with patients and families and teach them about boosting their health. Her future practice will focus on providing patient and family-centered advanced practice care.

What inspired you to become a Nurse Practitioner?

My ambition to enhance my education and career as a registered nurse motivated me to pursue the position of Family Nurse Practitioner. In addition, I wanted to care for my patients on a new level and provide a comprehensive view of patient care.

What is your philosophy on patient care?

My patient care philosophy is to provide comprehensive and patient-centered care with dignity and compassion.

What brought you to St. Hope?

I worked with population that was underserved. I would like to continue providing primary health care to underprivileged people. Working for a community health clinic would allow me to deliver healthcare to those who are most in need.

My philosophy on patient care is to provide quality care the patient needs when the patient needs it, in a safe and effective manner. I believe that the patient should be actively engaged and involved in every aspect of care. Giving quality patient care can have a positive effect on health outcomes. It contributes to a more positive patient experience and can improve the physical and mental quality of life.


What brought you to St. Hope Healthcare?

In my endeavor to increase my clinical knowledge in infectious diseases and chronic disease management, I was drawn to St. Hope Foundation, as they serve patients from various disease states that include, but not limited to, heart disease, diabetes, HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis C, and obesity.
