I’m a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). Originally from Puerto Rico, I grew up in a close-knit family of seven. Being bilingual in Spanish and English allows me to connect meaningfully with diverse patient populations and provide culturally sensitive care.
My journey in healthcare began in 2013 as a paramedic right after high school, evolving into a deeply rewarding career. I earned my Master of Science in Nursing from Ana G. Méndez University in Florida in 2024. My clinical background includes experience in critical care, emergency services, and managing both chronic and acute conditions as an APRN.
Beyond clinical practice, I’ve also had the privilege of serving as a Health Specialist with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), contributing to national public health initiatives. I’m honored to have received the Guardian of Excellence Award from Press Ganey, a reflection of my ongoing commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care. Outside of work, I enjoy water sports, hiking, and spending quality time with family and friends.
