Get to Know Your Provider!

What inspired you to become a nurse practitioner?

I was inspired to pursue an advanced career in nursing after working in various hospital and home care settings as a Registered Nurse. My experiences in dealing with patients with various needs of care drove me to want to gain a wider scope of influence throughout the patient care process.

What is your philosophy on patient care?

I believe that patient care should be rooted in empathy, communication, and a strong relationship between the care provider and the patient. Regardless of any common underlying needs, symptoms, and diagnoses, every patient is different, and so the care that is required for each patient must also account for those differences. As a provider, I believe that my biggest role is to be my patients' advocate and provide the most efficient care for them as individuals.

What brought you to St. Hope Healthcare?

St. Hope Healthcare represents all the values that I strive to pursue in my medical practice - the dedication to patients and community that allows me create the best value I can.
