LaTrecia Prince MSN, APRN, FNP-C, AAHIVM is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner and certified in HIV Medicine. She has been working in the nursing profession since 2011. She received her Bachelor’s in Nursing from Texas Woman’s University. After seeking a challenge that would allow her to help patients in a greater capacity, she decided to further her education. Latrecia went on to receive her Master’s in Nursing from Prairie View A&M University, from which she graduated with the Dean’s Award.
Some of her clinical areas of experience include Medical Surgical, Urology, Women’s Health, Pediatrics, and Family Practice. She has worked both in the hospital setting and private practice. Her passion is to manage chronic conditions, and help patients transition from sickness to health. She also enjoys establishing an ongoing relationship with patients, rather than seeing them for their appointments, then moving on.
Latrecia was drawn to St. Hope Foundation, as she was interested in treating infectious disease, and chronic illnesses on a continuum. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau nursing honor society, and American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, to name a few. When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, listening to live music, and traveling.
