Food is always the best way to improve your health over taking supplements.  Enjoy this smoothie that uses heart healthy cacao powder, chia seeds and fruit. This is a great on-the-go breakfast!



Anti–Inflammatory Cherry Garcia Smoothie

Adapted from Sunwarrior  

Ingredients:

● 1 cup almond milk 

● ⅔ cup cherries (frozen)  

● 1 tsp. unsweetened cacao powder 

● ½ tsp. vanilla extract  

● 1 tsp. of chia seeds 

● 1 scoop of 100% whey chocolate protein powder, collagen (lowest in calories) or vegan protein powder  

● ½ banana (frozen) 

 

Instructions: 

Place all chosen ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth. Add ice, if desired.  

Nutritional Information: 

Recipe analyzed using 1 scoop of whey protein powder and ½ of a banana. 

Yield: 1 serving  

Serving Size: 1 entire serving 

Amount Per Serving:  

● Calories: 321 

● Total Fat: 8 g 

● Carbohydrates: 33 g 

● Protein: 29 g
