Questions & Answers

What inspired you to become an Optometrist?

What inspired me to become an optometrist was my father. He had an eye injury in his youth that required a lot of eye care and treatment. However, due to a language barrier, I had to accompany him to translate during his exams. The doctor would show me the images under the microscope so that I could better understand and explain my dad's condition to him. Through this experience, I also got a glimpse of what it takes to be a caring doctor and the kind of doctor I strive to become.

What is your philosophy on patient care?

My philosophy on patient care is centered around establishing strong doctor-patient relationships and actively involving patients in their care decisions. By taking the time to understand each patient's concerns, preferences, and medical history, healthcare providers can make more informed decisions and deliver high-quality, compassionate care.

What brought you to St. Hope?

What made me interested in St. Hope Healthcare was the belief that this organization prioritizes a patient-centered approach to healthcare. I chose St. Hope because I believe they will ensure that individuals receive the attention, care, and respect they deserve. By recognizing patients as unique individuals and not just numbers, healthcare providers can deliver more effective and compassionate care, ultimately improving the overall well-being of their patients.
