What inspired you to become an Optometrist?
I was inspired to be an optometrist for multiple reasons, one being I love the patient doctor relationship! I not only get treat a patient but their whole family over years. Eyes are also very fascinating and truly are the gateway to the body. Most of the time if there is a medical condition in the body it also show in your eyes. Last but not least, vision is a gift, and I feel honored to be able to provide primary eye care to our community.
What is your philosophy on patient care?
My philosophy is to treat every patient as though they are my family member or close friend. Always putting their health interests first and providing them with all the possible information to make informed medical decisions. I consider us a team, working together to maintain your optimal eye health.
What made you interested in St. Hope?
I am very excited and proud to work for the St. Hope Foundation! It was always important to me to give back to our local community. I know there is no more rewarding job than helping those in need. As an optometrist at St. Hope Foundation I hope to build strong ties with our community, and join my fellow colleagues in helping close the gap for health disparities.
