Latricia Dawson MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner who has been working in the nursing profession for over seven years. She received her Bachelor’s in Nursing from Texas Woman's University. After seeking a challenge that would allow her to help patients in a greater capacity, she decided to further her education. Latricia went on to receive her Master’s in Nursing from Prairie View A&M University, from which she graduated with the Dean’s Award.
Some of her clinical areas of experience include Medical Surgical, Urology, Women’s Health, Pediatrics, and Family Practice. She has worked both in the hospital setting and private practice setting. Her passion is to manage chronic conditions, and see patients from sickness through health. She enjoys having an ongoing relationship with patients, rather than seeing them one moment in time. Latricia was drawn to St. Hope Foundation, as she was interested in treating infectious disease, and chronic illnesses on a continuum.
Latricia is a member of Sigma Theta Tau nursing honor society, and American Academy of Nurse Practitioners to name a few. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, listening to live music, and traveling.
