This week, the U.S. celebrated the 27th Annual MLK Observance Day. As we enjoyed our day home from work and made our way to the annual parades many of us examined the progress of Martin Luther King’s dream. Although, it is evident that the current laws prohibit racial discrimination, individuals are still facing institutionalized discrimination through various mediums including health care.
