Growing up I can remember having a desire to learn about different cultures, races, and wanting to give back to the community. This is why I love working at St. Hope. Both our staff and patients are culturally diverse which gives me the opportunity to live my dream of learning about various cultures, customs and values. I love each clinic day because as a medical social worker, there’s always some new challenge to help navigate patients through the many hurdles they face. The funniest part of my day at St. Hope happens when colleagues are in random conversations and someone bursts out with a laughter. It becomes contagious leading the whole medical staff to just start laughing too. In my heart, I know I’m at home because I work with a great care team and a great organization. St. Hope fosters a family-like environment and for this, I’m deeply thankful and blessed. I love coming to work every day.
