Dr. Kimberly Sherard, DNP, NP-C, AAHIVS is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Dr. Sherard received her Master of Science in Nursing and her Doctorate in Nursing Practice in 2010 and 2012 respectively, from Concordia University Wisconsin. More than 20 years ago, Dr. Sherard’s nursing career began in Women’s’ Health as a staff nurse in the hospital setting, eventually transitioning into the ambulatory care setting. She served as Adjunct Professor of for the Master’s of Nursing Program for Alverno College located in Wisconsin for several years.
Dr. Sherard’s extensive clinical experience includes but is not limited to treating patients diagnosed with Hepatitis C, high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity, women’s health, HIV/AIDS, depression, headaches, fatigue, gout, hypothyroidism, osteoporosis, sleep anea, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, etc. Dr. Sherard believes in taking care of the whole patient.
Dr. Sherard has served in a leadership capacity on several national and state health planning bodies. In 2008 she received a distinguished recognition in Wisconsin for her tireless work in the healthcare arena. Dr. Sherard is also a published author and in her spare time enjoys traveling and gardening.
